Awards

Inksters are an award winning law firm. At the Law Awards of Scotland: Brian Inkster was Solicitor of the Year in 2006 and Managing Partner of the Year in 2014; Louise King was Trainee Solicitor of the Year in 2011; Inksters were Corporate Social Responsibility Law Firm of the Year in 2012 and won the prestigious Chairman's Award in 2013. At the Symphony Legal Awards in 2019 Inksters won the awards for Niche Law Firm/Specialist Team of the Year and Most Innovative Marketing of the Year. In other awards we have won an Innovation Award, Web Award, Valuable Content Award and Placemaking Award. Our awards and our award nominations:-

  11 August 2010: Inksters have received two nominations at this year's Law Awards of Scotland: Marketing Team of the Year and Corporate Social Responsibility Firm of the Year.

  30 July 2009: Inksters receive 4 nominations at the Law Awards of Scotland 2009: Marketing Team of the Year, Trainee of the Year (Kathleen Simmonds), Family Law Firm of the Year and Law Firm of the Year (under 50 fee earners).

  16 September 2009: Inksters have been presented with a Real Estate Standard of Excellence WebAward for outstanding achievement in web development for scotsproperty.com.

  Support Team of the Year Finalist

  The team behind Inksters' new websites were one of the four finalists for the Support Team of the Year Award at The 2009 Legal Awards.

  Litigation Firm of the Year Finalist

  Inksters were one of the six finalists for Litigation Firm of the Year at the Law Awards of Scotland 2008.

  Innovation Award

  Brian Inkster picked up the innovation award at the 2007 Highlands and Islands Tourism Awards for OfficeLodge, the Lerwick-based business he operates with his sister, Hazel Anderson.

  Solicitor of the Year

  Brian Inkster was presented with the prestigious Solicitor of the Year award at the Law Awards of Scotland on 14 September 2006.
