Martin joined Inksters in 2011 while still a student. He studied Fine Art Photography (BA (Hons)) at the Glasgow School of Art before obtaining an LL.B. and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice, both from the University of Glasgow. He completed his traineeship at Inksters and is now a Solicitor with us.
Martin has a particular interest in crofting law and rural property law. Along with Brian Inkster and Eilidh Ross he is part of Inksters' Crofting Law team. Martin was the first student member of the Crofting Law Group and has contributed articles and legal updates on the subject for various publications, as well as for Inksters websites.
Martin also deals with Executries, Wills, Powers of Attorney and general Property Transactions.
Prior to working in the legal profession, Martin worked in the visual arts sector and still has an active interest in contemporary art and issues surrounding art and the law.
