Business Creativity Award Sponsors

Inksters are sponsoring a new award category at the Arts & Business Scotland Awards 2015 for Business Creativity.
At the 2014 Arts & Business Scotland Awards Inksters won the Placemaking Award for the partnership that enabled Scottish Ensemble to visit Shetland in the summer of 2013 for a mini-residency culminating in a performance of Seavaigers with Chris Stout (Shetland fiddle) and Catriona McKay (Scottish harp).
On the back of the 2014 win Inksters' founder, Brian Inkster, was invited to be a judge at the 2015 Awards. The judging panel was impressed with how many businesses are taking the lead in establishing and developing partnerships with cultural organisations to drive and develop commercial opportunities for both parties.
Brian Inkster suggested Arts & Business Scotland should create the Business Creativity category to celebrate initiatives that bring social and economic benefit to local communities and Inksters became the inaugural sponsor of this new award.
Brian Inkster said:-
“When judging the awards it became clear to me that there was a need for a new category: a Business Creativity Award. I am delighted to see this award come to fruition and for my law firm, Inksters, to sponsor it. This award recognises businesses who have taken the initiative in creating an arts and business partnership which is something we should be looking to foster within the Scottish business community.”
This new award category was announced for the first time in The Herald today: The Herald: Creativity Category at Business Awards
The winners of the 2015 Arts & Business Scotland Awards (including the new Business Creativity Award which will be presented by Brian Inkster) will be announced at an Awards ceremony at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre tonight.
