Fundraising to new heights!
06 May 2016
On Sunday 15th May 2016, 4 members of Team Inksters will be zip lining across the Clyde to raise money for CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people.
The team members zipping 150 feet high across 300m of wire above the River Clyde include Evonne Morrison, Gerald Segal, Margaret-Anne Gay and Karen Hughes. Evonne and Margaret-Anne’s partners will also be joining the team for moral support and the rest of #teaminksters will be watching from the sidelines to cheer them on!
Organiser Evonne said, “We are not really sure what to expect, but are all looking forward to this challenging and exciting fundraiser! It’s a great way to push ourselves and conquer our fears, whilst raising as much money as we can for a great charity.”
CLIC Sargent provides vital emotional, practical and financial support to young cancer patients and families during and after treatment. The altitude seeking members of #teaminksters hope to reach their target of £1000 for the charity, which would pay for a family to take a break from the trauma of treatment and enjoy a holiday together at St. Malcolm House in Ayrshire.
