Recommended Law Firms Guide 2009
18 September 2009
The Recommended Law Firms Guide 2009 has just been published by The Firm Magazine. Inksters feature in it as one of the 78 recommended law firms in Scotland.
Since the inception of the Law Awards of Scotland research has been undertaken amongst thousands of clients each year. They also poll firms in Scotland for their views on who has impressed them, and surveyed the Faculty of Advocates for their insights into which firms they rate. The results have been compiled for the first time in the inaugural Recommended Law Firms Guide.
The entry in the Guide on Inksters Solicitors states:-
"In addition to providing the usual suite of private law services akin to most High Street solicitors, Inksters provides an approach to law that is, in the words of its peers, “unique and forward thinking”. The firm has always been a pioneer of technology, and Inkster’s use of twitter – applied for example to update clients on viewing and surveys of properties for sale – has seen the firm move into a position that sets them apart from their peers.
The firm has also taken on two new trainees, very much against the grain of the recession, and has carved a legal niche as the country’s specialist in servitudes and crofting.
The Telegraph Business Club took notice, stating “Inksters put innovation very much at the heart of everything it does. What it lacks in size it more than makes up for in entrepreneurial spirit and this has helped establish it as one of the most progressive law firms in Scotland”.
The firm, proud to be “just a little bit different”, had 4 nominations at the Law Awards of Scotland 2009, and principal Brian Inkster is a former solicitor of the year."
