Step Diploma for Scotland (Trusts and Estates)

Inksters trainee Kathleen Simmonds has successfully completed the first course of the STEP Diploma for Scotland. STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) is an internationally recognised professional body for practitioners working in the field of trusts and estates. The Diploma allows practitioners to gain a recognised professional qualification in the legal jurisdiction of practice. The four courses of the STEP Diploma for Scotland cover:
- Wills and Executries: Law and Practice
- Trusts: Law and Practice
- Taxation of Trusts and Estates
- Trust and Estate Accounting
Having passed the exam in 'Wills and Executries: Law and Practice', Kathleen described the course as, “a fantastic learning experience invaluable to the understanding of Succession Law in Scotland.”
