Weather closes office but still open via the cloud
8 December 2011
Storm force weather in Scotland today resulted in Inksters taking the decision to close the Glasgow office at lunchtime to allow staff to travel home before the worst of the weather hit.
The BBC have stated:-
- Scotland is facing a winter storm with winds reaching in excess of 80mph in central and southern parts of the country.
- The Scottish government's resilience committee is told key routes are likely to be closed and motorists have been be advised not to travel.
- Ministers have advised that schools across west, central and southern Scotland should either not open or close early.
- The Met Office has said there would be significant risk of structural damage.
- The message from four Scottish police forces is "do not travel".
- Bridges including the Erskine and Forth Road Bridges have been closed due to the high winds.
However, with intelligent law cloud technology we remained able to monitor e-mails and deal with matters virtually whilst sheltering from the weather at home.
