An Englishman, a Shetlander, a Texan and 85 Broads

14 July 2010

Today Brian Inkster joined Chris Sherliker and Amanda Ellis for an 85 Broads Jam Session on 'Tackling Twitter for Business Development' moderated by Jennifer Johnson. This was conducted by way of an interactive Shift Worldwide virtual panel (vPanel) allowing all 4 speakers to be seen live on video via the web. Thanks must go to Kelly Hoey for bringing the panel together following on from Adrian Dayton's panel discussion on UK Lawyers and Social Media.

The "founding members" of 85 Broads were women who worked for Goldman Sachs at 85 Broad Street, the investment banking firm's former NYC headquarters. Over the past decade, 85 Broads expanded its membership to include women who are alumnae and students of the world's leading colleges, universities, and graduate schools worldwide. Their members are located in 82 countries around the world and work for thousands of for-profit companies and not-for-profit organizations.
