Investing in People for a Decade
31 March 2010
Inksters have been re-accredited as an Investor in People, 10 years on from when the firm first achieved the standard in 2000.
Just over 8% of Investor in People Organisations have maintained the standard for a decade and Inksters are delighted to join this group.
Investors in People is a proven business improvement framework that can significantly improve financial performance, profitability, productivity and increase employee involvement and focus.
Brian Inkster said “Last year Inksters celebrated 10 years in business and this year we are celebrating 10 years as an Investor in People. Being focused on our people has increased staff retention, motivation, productivity and ease of cultural change. This in turn has benefited our clients and our business.”
“Inksters are also very pleased this year to be one of only five IIP recognised organisations to be involved in piloting how the Investors in People framework can support and complement the employability agenda for Glasgow as a ‘City Strategy’ area. This addresses the issue of not only supporting organisations in attracting applicants from a wider talent pool but also retaining employees from diverse backgrounds and different employment needs. We are excited to be involved in this pilot and look forward to seeing the outcome of it in the Summer of this year.”
