Metro features Inksters' Property Tweets & Texts
28 January 2010
Inksters use of technology to market properties for sale was featured in the property section of Metro yesterday.
In an article entitled "The internet holds the key" it was pointed out that the internet changed the way that people looked for properties that were for sale. Potential buyers were able to access particulars and are information in moments.
Now social media has raised the bar further with some agents embracing new technologies to help get the message across to as many people as possible. One such agent being Inksters Solicitors:-
"Inksters was the first law firm in Scotland to use Twitter, tweeting at Twitter.com/inksters and listing properties for sale at Twitter.com/scotsproperty and Twitter.com/shetlandhomes.
'It's good for interacting and making connections, and helps to build up our profile and make people aware that we exist,' says founder Brian Inkster.
'Estate agents should be using every tool available to enhance the sale of clients' properties.'
One tool adopted by Inksters is the intelligent property service, which allows prospective buyers to receive details of properties near their current location. This is very useful if they spot a 'for sale' board as they can be texted the information instantly."
