10 December 2009: The Crofting Reform (Scotland) Bill was introduced in the Scottish Parliament yesterday and officially launched by Roseanna Cunningham in Inverness today. Watch a video on it.
23 November 2009: Part 8 of the Bankruptcy and Diligence (Scotland) Act 2007 comes into force today meaning that creditors will be able to ‘attach’ money, including cash, in certain circumstances. This increases the options open to creditors seeking to enforce payment of a debt.
28 September 2009: The Adoption and Children (Scotland) Act 2007 comes into force today, making major changes to the law surrounding adoption including the ability for a same-sex couple to adopt a child together.
