Rain, Mud and Fun at the Caithness County Show

31 July 2015

Wet weather and a sea of mud were no obstacles to forward thinking Solicitors when Inksters had their Stand at Caithness County Show at Wick on 17th & 18th July 2015.

Sylvia MacLennan was on hand to explain to visitors what services the firm can provide, and had a steady stream of interested people. A selection of refreshments were on hand, and the Pimms proved to be extremely popular despite the un-summery weather, while the more traditionalist farmers were glad of a dram to keep them warm, and those driving afterwards had a selection of soft drinks.

There was a free prize draw for a bottle of single malt: in this case, appropriately this was the local Old Pulteney. There were also popular Inksters shopping bags to take away; as well as brochures and useful leaflets and there were a few little treats included too!

Of course Inksters' prize winning sheep 'Inky', which debuted at the Royal Highland Show was also extremely popular at the Caithness Show too. There was a constant flow of children wanting to have their picture taken with it, and quite a few adults too.

Inksters were also pleased to be one of the main sponsors of the show, which is an annual highlight for the local farming & crofting community.
