Most mentioned law firm Twitter account

05 January 2015

A Social Media Report on UK Law Firms has ranked Inksters Solicitors as having the most mentioned Twitter Account.

The Report by Online Ventures Group tracks the social media progress of law firms across the UK.

The report provides an in-depth look into the ranking of various firms in terms of amount of Twitter followers, retweets, mentions, hashtag usage, prolific tweeters and much more.

The aim of the report is to provide law firms with an insightful analysis into how their tactical approach to Twitter compares to competing firms, and also offer the chance to explore areas where improvements can be made.

The Report summary states that a key finding is the fact that "the account with the most number of mentions is Inksters Solicitors, which shows that their tweets are highly engaging."

Overall, taking all the information in the Report together, Inksters had the third highest overall score following on from two law firm giants: Allen & Overy and Clifford Chance.

Inksters' founder, Brian Inkster, said:

"Social media should be all about engagement with others and Twitter mentions is therefore a significant metric to come out top on. Too many law firms just broadcast and I am delighted that the Report highlights Inksters for our Twitter interaction. The Report also shows that social media can level the playing field with a small Scottish law firm ranking up there with some of the biggest law firms in the world."

OVG co-founder, James Welch, stated:

“Social media and Twitter have become incredibly dominant factors in terms of online marketing. We felt almost a sense of duty to provide a report for law firms across the UK in order to allow them to see just how important they are, and also how their current campaigns are performing.

“A lot of companies apply these Twitter tactics without applying metrics which would allow them to gauge exactly where they are succeeding and where their downfalls are; so we decided that we’d do it for them to ensure they’re getting the most out of any strategy they have implemented.’’
